| Message | What is the point of allowing private institutions to issue currency if it just going to be regulated anyway? That is like having two national currencies. It is pointless and wasteful to use government funds on regulation like this. The NCP urges its fellow parties in government to rethink their stance on this issue. |

In addition crypto is specifically designed to be decentralised and therefore unregulated by a central authority so this vague legislation would seem to defeat its entire point. Only allowing select companies to issue crypto is problematic also. Liberty will vote no. |
