Description[?]:
Dear Stortinget, the National Purity Congress sees the fight against moral degeneracy and sociocultural perversions as crucial in maintaining a civilized and cultured society. In our opinion, a state may and should regulate the private lives of its citizens in order to preserve the moral integrity of the nation. As such, the NPC has drawn up an extensive proposal that will include basic measures opposing the cultural and moral downfall caused by the present lassez-faire sociocultural policy and strenghtening national Kazulian heritage and culture. I.) THE FAMILY 1.) Withdrawal from the Protection of LGBT Act (PLA) The NPC believes in the fact that marriage - and any premarital relationship - is a holy union between man and woman, nothing less, nothing more. The granting of equal rights to homosexuals not only encourages the spread of non-normative perversions and their normalization but also severely devalues marriage. Only heterosexuals can produce children and provide adequate care and upbringing. The withdrawal from the PLA is necessary to permit the government to encourage correct relationships and keep the value of marriage high. 2.) Restriction of Abortion Embryos and fetuses are living beings, just like children after birth are. No child is to be blamed for the fact that its mother was raped, can not afford to care for it or simply does not want to take upon the responsibility of motherhood. In the opinion of the NPC, abortion is homicide, and under some circumstances even equates to first-degree murder. After long consideration, the NPC has decided to propose a compromise: abortion will only be granted in the case of dire medical emergencies, e.g. when the mother's live can only be saved at the cost of the child's live (or both parties will die if no abortion is performed). The government will also be entitled to grant abortions if the child is endangered by a severe genetical defect. The social care system should be strenghtened so that Kazulian mothers must not fear bringing up their children in poverty. Rapists and absent fathers must be held accountable for their deeds and forced to support their children financially alongside with their other punishments. It is self-explanatory that the government will cease providing funding for abortions.* Medical abortions will be paid either by private charities or the culprit fathers if the mothers can not afford them. 3.) Prohibition of Surrogacy Surrogacy is a practice that turns childbirth into a business. Couples who can not conceive children should instead be incentivized to adopt orphans - or children who would otherwise be aborted. A program which allows young and impoverished mothers and fathers to apply for their children to be adopted by a wealthy family shall be created.* II.) PUBLIC MORALITY 1.) Sexual education in school Schools should cease exposing young children to illicit knowledge and corrupting them, sometimes even against the will of their parents, by teaching the practice of acts of carnal pleasure, especially non-reproductive ones. An approach that encourages pre-marital abstinence should be taken in the curriculum instead and all classes encouraging indiginity removed from study plans. 2.) Pornography Pornography is an exploitative and highly immoral business that should be criminalized. Not only does it corrupt the souls of the youth and addict them but also equals to prostitution, which is illegal under Kazulian law. The production, solicitation and posession of all types of pornography as well as of immoral scenes in movies shall be outlawed. --- SIGNED, Theodor Lynden Frankenstein General Chairman of the National * = Pre-voting in Abortion Funding and Surrogacy Act |
