Message | This undermines our relationship with our allies, and is in clear opposition to free open trade. Now we would be willing to discuss article 5 as a possibility in separate legislation, however we will oppose this bill. |
Date | 20:21:26, October 20, 2018 CET | From | 国民同盟党 (Kokumin Dōmeitō) | To | Debating the Sekouo First Act |
Message | The KMDM position is that while free trade is economically-beneficial for our country, to allow nations to impose tariffs without reciprocal or retaliatory tariffs in turn will only encourage protectionist measures against Sekowan goods and services. The presence of foreign embassies on Sekowan soil presents a clear, present and existential danger to Sekowan national security, with the potential for espionage and the selling of national secrets being great amongst embassy and diplomatic staff, and given that incidents of undeclared foreign agents amongst embassy stuff is not uncommon in different jurisdictions, it is only prudent that foreign embassies be put to rest once and for all. - 桜井 美智雄、国民同盟党(KMDM)の総裁 |
