Bill: Budget proposal of December 4472

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Progressive Party of Pontesi

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 4473

Description[?]:

The New Progressive Party of Pontesi propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Federal Constitutional Republic of Pontesi.

There were some ministries that were woefully underfunded while others had more than needed, so we allocated the funds as we saw fit. While this does increase overall spending, we should still be running at a surplus.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
