Bill: Prevent Poverty

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Thomasian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2202

Description[?]:

Many Mordusians are stuck in a terrible cycle. The rich man trying to cut costs fires a worker and the worker is forced out. Unable to find a job the man becomes destitue not being able to support himself and often his family. He forced out onto the streets or into the shanty towns. Left in an unsanitary condition, starving without clean clothes he becomes virtually unemployable and is never able to better himself or improve his circumstances.

If the Government actually fufilled its role and protected people by making sure they did not run out of money we could help millions. We must have benefits.
