Message | Mr Speaker, Before entering politics, I served in the Navy. It is an absolute honor to serve your nation and its something I think every able bodied Hutorian should consider doing. However, I do not believe mandatory service is fair. While military service does provide valuable lessons and skills, it is not something everyone should be forced into. Mandatory military service is the first step towards becoming an authoritarian regime and I cannot allow that to happen. Our party will not support this bill. Theodore Martin MP for Wrightstown Centre Defense Spokesman and Deputy Leader of the Royal Conservative Party |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
Random quote: "The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius |
