| Message | OOC: It makes sense to establish what the recognized religions of CNEKK are because the following policy matters include options that distinguish between "recognized/recognised religions" and, implicitly, unrecognized ones or "cults". * Taxation of religious institutions. * Government policy concerning religions. * The governments stance on religious schools. By establishing whether or not "Legionary Faith" is a recognized religion, players can introduce laws on these policies and it is clear whether or not "Legionary Faith" will be effected. For example, if a law passes that says, "There is no official state religion, but the government only allows recognized religions. 'Cults' are persecuted." then we know it is not a question of repressing "Legionary Faith", unless the bill includes an RP provision for reclassifying "Legionary Faith" as a cult/unrecognized. The RP bill also makes sense because it establishes the size of "Legionary Faith". |
