Description[?]:

Sanquinian Law on the Anthem

Senators,

In our party we do not believe the state should be neutral between different conceptions of the good and different behaviors. Instead, we believe the government has an interest in actively supporting and promoting those beliefs and those practices that are most conducive to a free and civil way of life by fostering and encouraging civic virtue in our citizens. One of the means of promoting virtue is the establishment of Republican rites and rituals, civic ceremonies that cultivate virtuous behavior and beliefs. Perhaps the most important such ritual is the performance of our national anthem, given its immense symbolism and value as a Republican tradition. It is particularly impressionable young minds that are most open to molding and refashioning in a Republican manner, allowing us to instill Republican virtues from a young age through the participation of our children in Republican ceremonies. As such we call for the reintroduction of the daily performance of our national anthem in all our schools.

Nicolaus Sanquinius
Senator

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
