Message | We believe that the government is completely ill suited for this job and the Prime Minister, Freyja, should resign because of poor performance, ill governing, reports of corruption and rising authoritarianism. By the people for the people, -Frodi Lukasson SD |

Message | Mr. Lukasson, Under no circumstances will our great government resign for no reason. As Prime Minister, no matter what you and your "internet trolls" might say, I work hard and do everything in my power to make this government achieve its goal. And its goal is the security and prosperity of our nation. Your request is outrageous as is your persistent attacks and smear campaign against me. Prime Minister Freyja Gulikssdotir-Þórirsson |

Message | This party is not lead by anyone, we have a party council that collectively represents the labour movement. Lukasson is merely our candidate for prime minister, because we believe he has certain capabalities and small enough weaknesses that would be most ideal to lead this country - he is not perfect, but a good choice. We of course understand that the government will grasp for power until the last second, and we respect the constitution for granting them the rights to do so. We will, on the other hand, promise to never misue our power as they do. There is no smear campaign, but only the truth that the voters deserve to know. It is no secret that this government is embedded in several corruption scandals and its weak authoritarianism is frankly a shadow of the real kleptocracy that our republic is turning into. We might be harsh sometimes, and of course some people might perceive us as "internet trolls," but bear in mind that in every other country such opposition behaviour is actually considered normal parliamentarism. We do apologise, if we offended anybody, but this is a part of the political process and if handling it proves to be a problem, you are not that suitable to govern, misfortunately. The issue this country has with the prime minister is essentially her bad style of government and lack of accountability, which is what democracy is based on. We believe that both she and her husband act incorrectly in their offices and could, yet don't, do better. Alongside a change in polls we proposed this no-confidence-vote on a basis of the illegitemacy and lack of support in the current government. There is no joker here, it is a serious, national matter that has and has had to be addressed. We propose a SD government and possibly even a coalition, a peaceful and impartial head of state. Our policies are truly for the people, which is why we propose this motion. For liberty, equity, fairness, justice and progress. Please vote for the SD! Kind regards, -Askatla Hallbjoernsdottir SD |
