Message | No marriage, no children. This one is very simple. We can let every woman run with a child in their womb. A child needs protection, shelter and a healthy relationship between a mother and a father. Children born without a proper family, studies show that tend to be psychopaths and criminals. Do you want a world full of unmarried mothers and children with mental issues? Minister of Health and Social Services Emil Steinsson |

Message | The minister of Health and Social services is clearly misleading the public with illegitamite data. Studies have shown that children in civic union show no difference in behaviour or performance compared to nuclear families. Therefore Mr. Steinsson has no ground to argue. What we do however have to discuss is about all the families that are not married - there are ever more couples that have children without marrying. The same principle should be applied for IVF and can in fact be seen as an economic opportunity, because people from other countries would flock to us. But of course, the government wants you to shut your mouth and eyes and be complacent with medieval values - we profoundly oppose and give unmarried couples the dream they've had for so long. Let's remove this silly government, vote SD! -Erisa Kristfinnursdottir SD |
