Bill: Medicine Fairness Act of November 2202
Details
Submitted by[?]: Proletariat Revolution Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2204
Description[?]:
When it comes to the coverage of medical expenses, those with money can buy the best simply because they can afford. Those with very little receive ample support because they are clearly unable to pay for themselves. In a system that is user-pay, those who don't qualify as 'low income' but still don't make enough money to comfortably subsist after medical expenses are set back finacially if an ailment befalls an individual or member of that family that doesn't make a large amount of money; or too little. This bill is in response to: AM AMALAM Reform Bill - New Direction Gimel and Ending Wage-Based Inflation, both of which seek to create a greater rich poor divide with its medical care policies. |

Message | All we ever wanted was a system that allowed for the existance of a public one; we never objected to the private one. We just hope that others will support. |

Message | Response to "This bill is in response to: AM AMALAM Reform Bill - New Direction Gimel and Ending Wage-Based Inflation, both of which seek to create a greater rich poor divide with its medical care policies." This is just not true. The 'New Direction' bills (Gimel and He) actually allow for medical coverage provided BY the State, for those most in need. Indeed, if a policy DOES create a 'rich-poor divide', it is THIS kind of policy... that gives 'state' healthcare to some, but superior 'private' healthcare to those who can AFFORD it. This policy does the opposite of what is claimed. AM AMALAM must oppose. |

Message | Public healthcare doesn't automatically equate inferior care. But, we're allowing people to make the choice and regardless, they have to pay tax and that tax goes to the public system. |
Date | 20:26:18, March 23, 2006 CET | From | Front for State Prosperity | To | Debating the Medicine Fairness Act of November 2202 |
Message | The FSP believes that private sector medical activity should not be tolerated. We vote in favor of this as superior to the status quo. |
