Bill: Prime Minister's Adress, May 4502

Details

Submitted by[?]: 人民党 (Jinmintō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4503

Description[?]:

Let's face it everyone. You don't like me. We are the largest party in the assembly and yet still look down upon me. Whatever. Deal with it. I have been called immature by opponents (ehem, Jiyu Party), but if you look at the truth, the people had the chance to take me out of power but they wanted me. What do you suppose that means?

I can assure you all that despite my mannerisms, I am still a much more controlled and moderate politican than the former prime minister Shun Morigawa, who, if I could remind you, instigated the anti-Monarchy movement and tried to dethrone Emperor Ishida. That explains how he was only PM for 8 months.

Work with me and be productive! Or get nothing done and get voted out.
PM Satoru Ishijima

I am the sole person who has control over the Ishida Dynasty as it's my creation and the Empress is not trans (not that there's anything wrong with it).

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "If democracy is ever to be threatened, it will not be by revolutionary groups burning government offices and occupying the broadcasting and newspaper offices of the world. It will come from disenchantment, cynicism and despair caused by the realization that the New World Order means we are all to be managed and not represented." - Tony Benn
