Message | Mr. Speaker, we could discuss this bill. But some articles aren't even worth arguing. LWA believes letting criminals vote would send a wrong message to the citizens, concerning rights and all. We do indeed believe that some parties might indeed gain some votes if this law were to be changed. What we cannot accept is the change in our judiciary system. We hardly can find the time and money to fund our Justice Department as it is. Therefore, under the current circumstances, we cannot change that system at all. Mercedes Verhoord Minister of Finance |
