Bill: Personal Weapons Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labor Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2203
Description[?]:
It is the view of the Labor party that stricter gun-control policy is needed in this country. It should be ratified so that a more strict licensing policy is required to ensure that weapons are not being sold to people to be used in agressive means. The current policy talks about people with mental instabilities, well the last time we checked not every murderer or person involved in a weapon related attack is mentally unstable, so we believe it is time that the law was changed so that not just anybody should be allowed a weapon. As you may have noticed, we strongly believe that this country should be promoted as a peaceful nation, and this is just another step towards ensuring that we become so. |
