Bill: Cabinet Proposal of August 2203

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2204

Description[?]:

His Grace would be honoured if the Progressive Conservatives would abandon their folly of allying with the two extremist left-wing parties, and rejoin the mainstream conservative alliance which served Aldegar extremely well until very recently.

(Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena)

MessageI say yes. I hope the PC is satisfied with the contribution we are making to keep them as HoG. I look forward to hopefully working cooperately with them from now on.

MessageWhile the PC Party believes that recently the Republicans have been acting more sensibly than they did in the past, we still believe it is much too early to consider such a coalition. We shall abstain out of respect to all the parties involved.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.

Random quote: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people and neither do we." - George W. Bush
