MessageMr. Speaker

I'd like to ask the Deputy Prime Minister Mr Dover why the federal government should manage homeless shelters. I would like to know of an example at which the federal government can do a better job with homelessness then the local governments. With the federal government you add another level a bureaucracy which a majority of the time will cause increased delays and inefficiencies. The one-size-fit-all federal government can never handle local issues as well as local people. We urge all parties to join us in this common sense and reasonable proposal.

MessageJust like the National Healthcare Devolution Act, this is going to put a lot of homeless people in a worse position than they already are simply because they’re in the wrong Federal State.Local governments can’t deal with healthcare, how can we except them to deal with homeless shelters?

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".
