MessageSetting a price floor on any market item leads to distortions in the market value of all products which utilize that item. In this case, that is all items in the market which will have their prices increased.

MessageSo, you're saying you'd rather see the market exploit the worker who doesn't have the confidence to go up to his/her boss and demand better pay? Exploit the worker who is in an industry with no union/protection? Exploit the young worker who just got his/her first job?

MessageThe current policy will:
Incentive worker 1 to build his self confidence which will not only increase his income but make him a better person overall,
Encourage worker 2 to form a union with like minded laborors,
encourage worker 3 to build his skill set in order to leave his first job and make his second one better.
