Description[?]:
Pythian Law on Abortion The repeal of the old abortion law, which allowed it to be carried out during the first two trimesters of pregnancy, in favor of a law that only allows it in emergency situations has been no more than a failure of society in general. Repeal a law resulted from consensus with another on a subject that we already thought overcome only brings division and confrontation to society. Numerous scientific studies endorse the ability to perform abortions in the first two trimesters of pregnancy without any harm to the pregnant woman, and yet, the government decided to amend the law using arguments that criminalized women by the mere fact of being women and because it considered that one must take charge of the consequences that can derive from enjoying a healthy sexual life with the couples that can be had. From In Marea we firmly oppose this thought and we ask for the immediate return of the previous law. Glycius Pythio Senator |
