Description[?]:

Under this act, private sale of alcohol will be legal. Upon passage, provinces will be given 1 year to create legislation that regulates the private sale of alcohol.

On top of the regulations set in place by provincial governments, the following federal regulations must also be adhered to by private alcohol providers:

1.1) The legal minimum age that stores may sell alcohol to anywhere in Hutori will be 18. Provinces may set their own minimum age, but it must be at least 18.
1.2) The federal penalty for selling alcohol to a minor will be no less than a 20,000 HLR fine and/or 18 months imprisonment.

2.1) All businesses wishing to sell alcohol must register with the federal government and apply to obtain a permit. All information will be shared with the provincial government where the business operates so that the provincial governments may monitor them to ensure provincial regulations are being adhered to.

3.1) No person under the legal minimum age may serve alcohol.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
