Bill: Woman's Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Humanist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4546
Description[?]:
In an attempt to bring about change for the women of our nation we propose the following. 1.) We believe that women are of equal standing to men, as such we believe that women should have the right to determine who they with to marry, or to not marry if they so desire. 2.) We believe that women are just as capable as men in working roles, we see no reason why women should be confined to part-time work if they desire to work full-time and support themselves with their own money. We also note the work done by the women of our nation who defied such archaic laws to support themselves and their families, we move to ask the senate to absolve them of the apparent 'guilt' of this 'crime' and declare the women who stood for equality in this matter as national feminist heroes. |

Message | This does not alter the fact that the government is in Violation of their own law at the Moment and even if this law is changed, the Violation remains on the table. |

Message | There was an election inbetween and the proposals were changed. We call that a rush when it Comes to current illegal behaviours of the government. Leader of the Opposition and First Soldier Freiherr Xaver zu Hintermooser |

Message | A third article, pertaining to the legalisation of abortion within the first and second trimesters was considered too unpopular to pass a vote, we consider the remaining articles to be too important to risk and thus decided to drop the third article until further notice. We often put new bills to vote after an election, the fact that this pertains to women's rights is unrelated to the female Ministers working in the current coalition government. And, as we have stated before, no current laws are being violated. Despite your claims. W. Bowman. Leader of the Humanist Party. |

Message | As well as doing a great service to our nation, you are also helping the BdL out here. They were to be hauled before the High Court for a ruling on the constitutional standing of their female employment policies. |
