Message | Our Country is a parliamentary democracy. Not a dictator. We should allow budget deficits, it’s not necessarily the end of the world and always has been resolved when there has been a deficit. We do believe that changing certain laws have to correspond wiith whatever the budget is at the time. For example. If there is no budget deficit - change laws so that certain sectors are more privatised or completely privatised, with a mix of government funded industries. If there is a slight budget deficit - change laws so that certain sectors are government and private/ state funded - mixed economy. If there is a huge budget deficit - change laws so that certain sectors have more government funded industries than private or completely government funded. We believe this is Democratic for all ministers and people of Solentia. This does not allow all services to be ran privately with more access to government funded support. We believe every party in this government can agree to this proposal. DCP |

Message | OOC: as an economics grad student, it amazes me how little ALL of you understand about budget deficits. Carrying a surplus would 100% of the time be detrimental in the modern world. As long as the budget deficit doesn’t mess up the credit rating, it’s actually economically good for a country to carry a deficit. |

Message | OOC: Nonsens! Non one wants to create a surpluse.....it should just be even...the black zero. |

Message | OOC: yeah in most developed countries, carrying a deficit helps your economy. Pretty much all countries owe Money to each other in some faction, and it may seem hard to understand, but that’s what keeps the macroeconomic system going. |

Message | OOC: How do we know that when no country ever tried that? The Arab countries and Norway live perfectly well, even better than some European-debt ridden countries. |
