Bill: Faschistische Union Resolution and Questions

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4555

Description[?]:

We are curious what happened to Faschistische Union. Their party resigned from government last electoral cycle, and their supporters seem to have migrated to the MNP, however, the MNP has nowhere near the harsh tactics that the Faschistische Union had. We are please to hear this, and we ask the MNP what their plans and priorities are in government this term.

If anyone else would like to chime in, that would be greatly appreciated.

President Johan Edgren

MessageI'm glad you asked that question. What happened to the fascists I do not know, we wanted to do what we are doing now: Small steps to change the country. In order to do this, we need the majority of votes, because of that we voted mostly with the FU, even when we did not completely agree with them. We got the support of the people and now we can start the reform. The goals you generally know are: lower taxes, better budget, more freedom for the people.

It may be a little dishonest move to get votes, but in some other way it could not end with a Fascist policy.

I am ready for any condemnation, punishment or exclusion from politics, but I did it for a better future.

MessageWe respect this answer from the MNP. Although we disagree with them politically, we recognize and appreciate the fact that they value the democratic process, unlike the FU. However, we do find it concerning on some legislative goals that you signed on to. For you, it seems like a short term sacrifice for a long term success, but some of the instances where you agreed with the FU was straight up appalling. How can we be certain that the MNP will always remain in the bounds of the legislative process rather than trying seize power in ways the FU was notorious for?

MessageWe will abolish most of these laws in the coming period. I can speak to you and promise a variety of things, but time will show that the MNP is a far more honest and democratic attitude of the party than previously you think.

The reform has already begun

MessageWe're curious, and cautious behind the reasons of their sudden disappearance.
Their tactics are not above manipulation tactics, so for now, we remain unsure.. Though we're hopeful the MNP and the rest of those in the senate can now work together for a better future.

MessageAs a newly-revived party in Solentia we look forward to collaborating with MNP and all the various parties in Solentia. The Republicans will look to enact conservative policies while opposing fascism . We are committed to a democracy in Solentia.

MessageThe tactic certainly exists. The Solentia is quite built to their extent, so I believe that it will let it become a bit more liberal and then return and obstruct these laws to be re-arranged to their extent.

Response to the Republicans: We are ready for cooperation, but we do not think that the state should be completely conservative, but moderately conservative but also liberal

MessageWe are also really curious to why the FU have suddenly left Solentia and resigned from Solentian Government.

We believe it could be down the lack of popularity the party painted in the last few elections. We don't want to jump to assumptions so we will leave that one there.

We also massively agree with the MNP the state cannot be completely conservative. We believe that our party should adopt liberal(left) ideals as well as conservative(right) ideals.

We are a centralist government who are progressive and conservative leaning. We are very happy that MNP are currently adopting our party's ideals into their government. We are totally satisfied that your party joined Solentia. Thanks to your party we have got rid of the evil facists that wanted to ruin our country.

MessageWe are satisfied with how MNP handles things. MNP remains committed to their values, but this in a mature and open manner. The most important thing is that they are open to dialogue.

Not only do they argue for their own views, but they are also open to compromise. This is how politics is supposed to be.

Concerning FU, we as the Progressive Party are not very concerned.

MNP has now seen that it can count on us to stop the Fascism of FU.
