| The House of Representatives, in its legislative function, is composed of certain committees. The majority party will hold all committee chairmanships, while the second biggest party or the opposition will hold the ranking memberships (vice-chairmanships). These are the following committees. There must be one for each Ministry and then additional committees: - Agriculture and Agronomy - Budget - Business - Defense and Armed Services - Education and Labor - Energy and Commerce - Environment and Natural Resources - Ethics - Finance - Foreign Affairs - Health - Homeland Security and Internal Affairs - House Administration - Judiciary - Oversight and Reform - Rules - Science, Space and Technology - Social Services - Transport and Infrastructure |
