Message | We disagree with article 1. We believe advertising should be regulated. We do not want fictional propaganda and advertising to hit our peoples TV. We want advertising to go through regulation to ensure accurate and precise information is being displayed to the public. Our party impose a fine chart for any business that does not comply with advertising laws. We will assure that advertising is taken seriously. Our party are a big supporter of a mixed economy. We oppose to article 2. The DLP would much rather the central bank to have government oversight instead of it being a separate organisation to the government. We can agree with article 3. If we decrease corporate tax, then it will increase our investment in Endralon. But we still believe that business should be taxed, far more than the average tax band in Endralon for single workers. Our party will absolutely disagree with article 4. The DLP work to campaign and ensure that all people in Endralon have excellent working rights, by deregulating the working hours of a single individual who works, will be forced as 'slave labour' we cannot have corporations become making their own laws for daily working hours, this will emotionally and physically damage people in our Country. Our employment rights campaign will receive top priority and will do what we can to assure this article does not go through the legislature. We agree with article 5 to an extent, we do believe that energy prices should be regulated, and should be in the hands of the government not private industry. The problem with this article is that private corporations are able to deregulate this section of either energy sector at any time, we would have a safety net in place where the government intervenes when energy prices excessively increase, therefore we will oppose to article 5. We agree with article 6, we believe increasing sales tax (non luxury and food) would generate more revenue for our Country, which is a massive bonus for us all. The extra revenue can be invested into more public funding/services. We believe that gambling should be regulated. We believe gambling is an addiction and should be acted on responsibly. With regulation to gambling our party can assure that we can put a limit to the amount people gamble, and find accessible routes for people who have an addiction to recover. So we therefore disagree with this article (7) We disagree with articles 8, 9 and 10. \r\nArticle 8- Pornography should be regulated, there should be protections on people who act in any forms of pornography. There should be regulation to what type of pornographic material should be viewed legally. Article 9- Deregulation to recreational drugs will cause people to intake chemicals/drugs they are not aware off. We believe this can cause serious health affects and psychological problems. Article 10- This will cause people to spend and lose their money unnecessarily. We believe stock exchanges should be regulated as we believe this is a form of gambling. We dont categorise it as gambling, but its giving money in expect for a return (much more), again this is something we reject. We need stock exchanges regulated. Overall we oppose to your economic deregulation act. |
