MessageWhy would the Teikoku Kōmeitō not support giving subsidies to encourage nuclear power? It encourages clean nuclear energy and relieves us of our reliance on other polluting energy sources. Perhaps the Teikoku Kōmeitō is filled with lobbyists for big oil?

MessageThe TSK has always supported clean energy and been opposed to fossil fuels, however Nuclear energy, unless it's fusion (OOC: Which, since it does not exist commercially/reached energy production in the real world can not exist in game), is a dangerous and dirty energy source and one which we might add is NOT renewable.

MessageIf you support clean energy then you can't leave out nuclear energy. The only reason nuclear energy is classified as a non-renewable is that uranium is a finite resource. However, the rate at which nuclear energy is consumed is insignificant compared to the supply. Nuclear energy is 8,000 times more efficient than oil or coal and even the highest quality solar panels commercially available only have an efficiency of 22%. Building nuclear reactors are cheaper and take less land then a solar panel field for the same amount of energy produced and by the way nuclear energy is way cleaner than solar panels, which creates more than 300 times more toxic waste than nuclear. They also require far more rare materials to construct.

Now Article 3 is not proposing that Sekowo not construct renewable energy sources all its proposing is that we start encouraging more nuclear energy which is cheaper, environmentally friendly, and more efficient. Our superior electrical grid is worth the fearmongering of the Teikoku Kōmeitō.
