Message | You say that Article 1 will be legal to only those who threaten our livelihood, however that's not what the article says, and thus it allows judges to impose penalties of flogging, branding and even mutilation on anyone. We are living in the 46th century, not the 10th century medieval ages. Corporal punishment is inhumane and against human rights. Does the NDRF not understand that what they are proposing covers every single Beluzian, even if they are not terrorists? Furthermore, does the NDRF not understand that what the clause says means what it says, that you cannot add your own interpretation to the law? OOC: Do you know how the game works? If it says: Judicial corporal punishment (eg. caning or flogging) is legal, it doesn't mean you change who it applies to, because legalising corporal punishment means you are legalising it on every single individual. It doesn't mean it only applies to terrorists. Police searches is just the same. You are allowing the police force to basically raid every single house, even if it's not a terrorist. You can't propose a law and then say that it will be for terrorists only. What you write in description cannot be included into the legislation. |

Message | OOC: This is more to do with the judicial system than dealing with terrorists. If you look carefully, I do think that there is a piece of the law which is specifically for terrorism |
