Bill: Income tax proposal of November 2206
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ducal Delegation
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2207
Description[?]:
Eliminating the 40% tax bracket will not cost the Aldegarian Treasury very much, and we can do it without taking our budget into deficit, but it will do a great deal towards encouraging our most talented people to stay in Aldegar and create future wealth here rather than moving abroad to live in countries with more liberal tax regimes. Message | this is merely a confidence and supply vote. this is not entirely an irrational proposal, the slu would like to request that the ducal make more of an attempt to talk with its coalition partners before making lofty decisions such as this. |
