| Message | The tariffs wouldn’t directly affect commoners. We don’t feel increasing tax would be a good move. Tax exemption or relief is one of the major reasons why businessmen and industrialists invest in our country and their business houses flourish and blossom ceaselessly. If we increase taxes, the companies may 1. Stop the influx of foreign investment and/or domestic investment 2. Employ tax evasion methods and engage in undocumented, black transactions. The current rates are fine, except that increase in tax liability is acceptable. |
