Message | We are not sure about the 4th Article. The Defense Minister becomes a minister for a reason and is supposed to know who is the best for their function as a military officer. Even though it might sound like the Minister has too much power, we do not think it is the best solution. Let us explaiin this in an easy informal way: The members of certain units may vote for an officer, a leader, which is 'the best' for them, the one who resists the least and the one they could influence. On the other hand, the Defense Minister should and could make sure that no such officer gets to such position easily, therefore maintaining the proper balance in the military. |
