MessageMr Speaker,

I have found in life that those who are so hateful and phobic of others, tend to be hiding skeletons of their own. Nevertheless, this bill shows the utter discontent for our soldiers who serve our nation. Sexuality or gender make no difference at all to a persons ability to perform in a job, for this reason, we see this reactionary, homophobic policy simply distasteful and shockingly anti-liberty.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

I have members of my own family who are homosexuals. They have advised me that even allowing them to exist in the military without being hunted by military officers is better. This policy I am creating is allowing them to serve without the fear of military officers actively seeking them out. Can the MLU stand with us to at least give them that? If this bill fails, which it will, homosexuals in the military will continue to be hunted and will serve in fear.

I yield

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
