Bill: Dissolution of the FP
Details
Submitted by[?]: Föderalistische Partei
Status[?]: passed

Voting deadline: April 4605
Description[?]:
“Nearly 30 years ago, the HDP was established as a force to fight for ordinary rural folk dissatisfied with the Communist regime. From those days to our rebranding as the Federalist Party, we have been fortunate enough to have been able to transition Dorvik from a one-party state into a liberal democracy, and have successfully transitioned from a command economy to a prosperous market one. We would like the thank the other parties for helping maintain the multiparty system, especially the former members of the grand coalition, Sol and the SLL. It’s been an honor to serve as our new nation’s first democratically elected leader, and it will be my honor to regain the chairmanship of this party one more time to dissolve it. Mia and I are retiring from law and politics, and the remaining party leadership will be joining either the DKP or SLL, or will be joining us in our retirement. We considered a formal FP-DKP or FP-SLL merger but ultimately decided against it. Our party has run its course, and it’s up to the next generation of leaders to preserve our democratic institutions and propel Dorvik into a glorious force for good, as G-d surely would have intended.” - Former Präsident and incumbent FP chairman Armin Lux |

Message | We also would like to thank you for your service to the country and the RP. It has been fun playing with you. There is a think I would like to ask are you going stay in the RP, as new party or as part of my party/the DKP, or are you going to retire from the game? I hope the first or second option. |

Message | OOC: I intend on retiring fully. As for the majority, I will gladly give 2 cabinet seats to the NPMD if the remainder can go to the SLL. Alternatively y’all can hold another election and see who gains the 33 seats that are up for grabs. |

Message | "Former Präsident Lux, We applaud your commitment to multiparty democracy, and it was certainly an honor serving in a cabinet and government that was greatly influenced by you. We recognize that the FP (formerly HDP) has run its course, and will be respectful of this decision, which is certainly not to be taken lightly. From all of us here in Solidarität, we thank you for your service in helping defeat the communist single-party state." -Florian Kautz Party Leader, Solidarität |
