Bill: PUBLIC TRANSPORT ACT OF 4605

Details

Submitted by[?]: Baltusian Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4606

Description[?]:

The Baltusian Conservative Party proposes to make reforms in public transport funding: the new policy will be “public transport is fully users-pays,” changing the current “public transport is partially subsidised with the remainder user-pays.”

Based on the public opinion poll held among the citizens of the United States of Baltusia last December 4604, a majority percentage of 32.25% Baltusians said they were in favor of “Public transport is fully user-pays”.

Only 8.26% of the Baltusian people agrees with the current policy “Public transport is fully subsidised for people with low-income, with the remainder user-pays.”

Baltusia, as a democratic country whose sovereign rights belong to the people, has a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Thus, we must listen to what most of our citizens say regarding the matter.

MessageTo our colleagues in the BCP, you can see the poll in the United States of Baltusia Daily. Shouldn’t we listen to our people? The voice of the majority must always win.
