| We propose to build a Tunnel under the Dorvan strait near Fairfax connecting the two main islands of Dorvan. It's going to be 25km long and going to cost 11 Billion Dolgar over the next 10 years till completion. Making an average of 1,25 Billion per year of which 0,5 Billion is is paid by the Dorvan State Government, 0,5 Billion by the Ministry for Transport and Infrastructure (4% of annual spending) and 250 Million donated by companies, cooperations and private people, possible even more later on. The tunnel will consist of three tubes. The outer ones will have three motorway lanes each for each direction, and the central one will have five rail tracks, two for each direction and one in the centre for special and emergency needs. Currently all transport in between the islands is done per ferries, cargo ships and planes. Please comment your opinions. |

| Message | A bridge would hinder cargo ship traveling to the mainland or other countries, and Fairfax is a very busy port. Ofcourse we considered of building a bridge, but it would need to be built minimum 410 meters above the water, and maybe even higher given that ships get higher and higher. |

| Message | No, it wouldn't. If we build a 410 meter high bridge, it would cost 19 billion dolgar (8 billion more). If we were to build it lower it would cost less, but the economic damage, by banning the biggest ships from passing under the bridge would increase the more you decrease the size and construction cost. So by decreasing the cost, the economic damage would increase. |
