Voting deadline: July 4617
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, It's our opinion, colleagues of the National Assembly, that the Hwitceaster Treaty (Animal Rights): http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4390 is an excessively shrinking international agreement that largely limits the national sovereignty of the country, like few treaties ever ratified by Istalia. The legislative capacity of the Istalia parliament in the areas covered by this treaty is reduced to practically zero gentlemen! To zero! So far the government of the Left will lead the nation obviously this treaty will be well protected, but then? If finally the Istalian people will decide to say enough about the current balance of forces? Well, the Istalian People, through their representatives, would be unable to decide the fate of their own country, if not after long procedures. And today, faced with an increase in the matters devolved to local authorities, there are five regions, five regional governments, unable to manage entire matters, entire economic sectors... do we really have to continue to endure all this? Here we are not talking about aiming to destroy the environment, but to face the situation in a decidedly more rational and pragmatic way and above all without debasing the sovereignty of the nation and the capacities of this Parliament. Thank you - Cesare Domizi, ANI's Leader |

Message | Deputies, So, which aspects of the treaty triggers the members of the Alleanza? So far, we see no problem in maintaining a treaty that protects the environment and ensures that laws with which we agree are protected. The only reason we find for the Alleanza trying to withdraw Istalia from this treaty is so they can apply policies banned by the treaty, and those policies are precisely the ones that directly attack the environment.
