Mr Speaker,
this bill is aimed to allow Istalia to conduct research on biological and chemical weapons so no to remain behind the technological progress and to be able also to develop countermeasures against such weapons, not to be used but from which we shall be able to defend.

This bill, furthermore, is aimed to assures to the country that in case of war on the country will be always an adeguate reserve to defend the fatherland, something that, we want remember to you, lacked during the civil war against the Thallerist Regime of 4546/48.

Finally, the bill is aimed to improve the deterence capability of the country.

We hope that the colleagues of the Majority will support this bill.

MessageWhile we strongly disagree with Article 2, as a period of national military service is against the values of a free people, we will support this proposal because we overwhelmingly agree with Article 1 and support Article 3.
