Bill: 4623 Prostitution Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unión Demócrata Republicana Confederal
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 4624
Description[?]:
The Unión Demócrata Republicana Confederal believes that prostitution should not be prohibited. However, we support the creation of legislation to control and regulate it by using work permits, licensing, or tolerance zones among other policies. The decriminalization of sex work, and the removal of criminal penalties for sex work will create a safer and healthier environment and will allow sex workers to live with less social exclusion and stigma. |
