Bill: Franklin IV Cabinet Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4636

Description[?]:

This coalition, that we will call the "Coloured Coalition" is the result of the hard work between parties that may have differences, but that can prevent the far-right from reaching ministerial positions. We are asking for the supply and confidence of our colleagues of the Centre Alliance for this government since they didn't partake actively in the negotiations and that they generally do not oppose the bills we propose.

Government program:
POLICE AND JUSTICE:
- No extradition treaties with counties that do not respect human rights.
EDUCATION:
- Students are made to sing the national anthem at special occasions, not everyday.
CIVIL RIGHTS:
- Teacher-led prayers won't be mandatory in schools anymore.
- Recreational drug use will be allowed.
IMMIGRATION:
- Stopping the invasive border controls.
- Stop chasing illegal migrants and start regularisation procedures.
HEALTH:
- The use of medicinal cannabis will be allowed.
BUDGET:
-Increasing social spending, while decreasing military spending. The previous governments made big cuts in social security spending.
