Bill: The "Truly Grand" Coalition of May 4641

Details

Submitted by[?]: Prince-Republican League - New EAPP

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4642

Description[?]:

Maybe inspired by the nearing anniversary celebrations, maybe just a sign to the extremists in the opposition, the loyalist parites of Lodamun have decided to enter into a big-tent left-of-center to Old Right coalition, that now manages to represent almost all Lodamese demographic groups aside from maybe the most progressive of the coastal merchant elites.
The rumors are that the new partner was promised even more ministries but the juggling of those could only be managed after the next elections because of the prior agreements signed with other parties.

MessageMr. Speaker,

His Serene Augustness has, in all of wisdom, declared this minor alteration in ministerial positions as "not a new cabinet, but a continuation of the old one, as the only change taking place is a junior cabinet position moving into the hands of an independent parliamentary faction" and thus "not in contradiction with the Lodamese Constitution".
