MessageBola Ikoku, Minister of Education and Culture:

"On behalf of the ruling Parties, I propose this legislation for initial debate that would allow us to reform Talmoria as it should have been centuries ago when we eliminated the monarchy and nobility rule over our country. References to kings and to kingdoms are outdated reminders of a harsh and unjust past- when we should be looking towards a future where the people have true say.

"Rather than allow our country to wallow in a dark past- and wallowing we are today looking at our current government structure- we should work together for a brighter future where our people can thrive. Making sure we adopt the right symbols is the first step of many in that process."

MessageAmare Brown, Minister for the Environment and Tourism,

"I raise my voice for and my glass to the changes proposed. We are not a monarchy, not even in name. Talmoria does not bow to a king, not since our first true President Monika Davidson led us to throw off the shackles of oligarchy. The ATR will support this legislation."
