Bill: Religious freedom act
Details
Submitted by[?]: We the people
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4651
Description[?]:
It is past time that in Gaduridos there is an effective separation between religion and government. The absurd limitation of the freedom of people to dress according to their own beliefs in their work place it is simply unacceptable. On the name of freedom we demand that this remains only a private matter of choice and not something dictated by some bureaucrats. |

Date | 00:28:14, October 19, 2019 CET | From | NLP | To | Debating the Religious freedom act |
Message | The NLP supports with a conditional statement that only public officials who have been elected would be permitted this. We don't want a religiously biased bureaucracy. (OOC: Think of this as a V2 of the bill - without NLP support, this bill would fail in its original form, so it could be interpreted that it was with NLP modifications that this bill went through, unless the other parties object to this amendment) |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
