MessageThis basically translates into "With fiery truth, Light the darkness of the world."

It represents how we are a beacon to the world, and that it is our duty to defend truth and justice all throughout the globe.

MessageI have to disagree.

If you took the time to look up what the motto means, you will find out that it means "unified in peace and agreement."

MessageI know what ours means.

And I like this one better. Is it better to put something that says we we are peaceful and united, or is it better to say that we are united in our determination to make the world a better place with the growing truthfull flame of democracy?

Messagethe whole 'firey' thing is a bit too extreme.

we'd rather show them the truth by setting them an example, not setting them on fire.

MessageThe flame doesn't mean set on fire, it means illuminate. It means the truth is so undeniably bright and hot that all lies shall be revealed.

MessageAm I the only person who EVER comes up with ideas around here? I swear, the National Democrats(the first legitimate big party, other than the infamous "rob" Party which had 100% of the seats for about 3 elections.

Messageand in america, it was the fedaralists and the whigs who came up with the flag and the motto.

should they be scrapped just because they don't exist any more?

the flag and the motto have remained unchanged for a reason: they work.

MessageI don't like our motto...

Or the flag.

Also, why is it in Lower-case letters? Hmmmm? That gives the impression that we are lazy! At least mine has it's first letter capitalized.

Also, the whigs and federals basically became the republicans and democrats. So they are partially still around, if not in name. HOWEVER, most of these parties are not from when we voted on the flag and motto. Their voices should be heard.
