Message | This bill would be a horrible regression in animal protection laws, the likes of which has never been seen in Likatonia. The fight for saving the environment is a constant, neverending battle, and this would represent a massive loss. Endangered species have rebounded significant amounts in recent years due to the protection that has been enforced, and all of that could be lost with this. |
Date | 06:08:57, November 20, 2019 CET | From | Democratic-Social Party | To | Debating the Animal Deregulatoin Act |
Message | The Democratic Party shares the criteria exposed by the Social Green Party. We believe that this bill would constitute a terrible threat to the protection animals currently have, especially those exotic animals that are also endangered species. At the same time, we believe that legalizing whaling and hunting endangers all animals and while animals do not equal human beings and do not possess the same rights, we believe living beings deserve certain minimum protections and animals are such living beings.
