Current: Food may be sold by licensed vendors only, and shelf lives of foods are enforced.

Message | Mr Speaker, I urge everyone to vote for this bill, in order for the nation to protect small business struggling against the onslaught of foreign goods and people. It is imperative that traditional ways of life be maintained, and that multinational corporation are not able to have monopolies on our agricultural sector.Not only this, but GM crops directly impact the ability of smaller farms to produce as much as theese larger farms. Message | Mr Speaker, after consultation with members of our party we are happy to support this bill, however we are not happy to support this while article 1 remains as part of this bill. i am not happy for the government to take control of private land. so, Mr Speaker, I say to Capt Ridley to remove this Article and we will see this bill through Parliament.
