MessageDear proposer

We investigated the current laws of Beluzia, and we find civil liberties and human rights relatively well treated there despite of radical leftist government. Economy is strongly regulated there, but do we have a right to intervene in those affairs? We would like to ask why is it necessary to brake alliance with the mentioned country, currently it seems an ideological decision.

We will never support changes in Article 6, since it would create possibilities of abuse, any group could be dispersed without reason. Current article in effect is guaranteeing the safety and respect of everyone, even the rights of others.

MessageMr Speaker, the Dynamocratic Party strongly support Article 2 of this bill. We also agree with Articles 4 to 7. Article 1 seems to be somewhat unneeded - we see no good reason why Rutanian companies cannot use our flag, especially when exporting as it promotes the good name of our country. With regards to Article 3, we are uncomfortable with this as we do not beat communist countries by descending to their level.

We are hesitant to support this bill as it stands. Can the TRNP confirm what they are attempting to achieve with Articles 1 and 3?

Signed,

Alexander Charles Prosser MP

MessageMr Speaker, on review of article 3, we have decided to remove it. However, the flag of our nation is that. A flag. It is not a commodity to be traded and exported. It should be used for purpose of patriotism and governance, not to make a pretty penny for big buisnesses.

ToDebating the The Anti Communist and Patriot Act
MessageMr Speaker, I appreciate the Baron of Seawatch's point. However, would he prefer that large Rutanian companies prospered in the export market or their foreign competitors? The view of my party is that the strength of the Rutanian flag as a brand can help boost our economy by boosting our exports. This seems a largely pointless ego-fulfilling exercise. With the removal of Article 3, however, we will vote in favour in order to pass the good initiatives elsewhere in the bill.

MessageMr Speaker, our flag is not some, penny pinching advertisement. Men and women died under that flag, and serve our nation with their lives. The idea that it should be used as a way for companies to advertise abhores me and my party. I can understand the Dynamocratics point, and agree that business it great, and that using Rutanian symbols encourages this. May I recommend the Great Stag, or maybe just the Silver Fleur de Lils.
