Bill: Call for early elections, February 4674
Details
Submitted by[?]: Lodamese Democratic Progressive Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: October 4674
Description[?]:
We, the Green Progressive Party of Lodamun, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. It is utterly unacceptable that we still have no Prime Minister and no means to form a new government currently. There also appears to be a vacancy in the Chamber as well, preventing us from forming another cabinet even if we had the support. We call on new elections to rectify this situation as soon as possible and hopefully to be able to form a functional government. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | Mr. Speaker, I’m sure our colleagues from the confusingly named Green Progressive Party will find, after further contemplation, that His Serene Augustness’ Most Loyal Government has been more than adequate in its job and especially so since the Prince-President started to... take a more focused interest in the position of the head of government. As always, EAPP stands against messing with the mysterious forces of the election cycle, lest something terrible happens. Random quote: "Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that is just confined to England or France or the United States. The interests in this country are in cahoots with the interests in France and the interests in Britain. It's one huge complex or combine, and it creates what's known not as the American power structure or the French power structure, but an international power structure. This international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources." Malcolm X |
