We propose a CPL-SDP cabinet supported by Renua Luthori with this program. We'd like to know what the parties that are part of our agreement agree or disagree with. ECONOMY: -Increase Health and Social Services Budget by 20 billion and decrease Defense Budget by 20 billions -End the principle of "minimum service" concerning strikes -Enforcing a salary cap -Monopolies will be enforced only in specific sectors of the economy. -Government approval is needed before strikers can be fired. GOVERNMENT: -Remove the privileges of nobility POLICE AND JUSTICE: -The death penalty is not applied, except for terrorism, treason and crimes against mankind. -Extradition to nations with capital punishment or with cruel or inhumane treatment of suspects and convicts is not allowed. -Police officers may only carry non-lethal weapons apart from specially trained firearms units. -Prisoners can do certain jobs in prison, voluntarily, for a small wage (instead of compusory prisoner labour) EDUCATION: -Students have to be educated to at least 18 years old (instead of 16). CULTURE: - The government should subsidise art institutions and individual artists. - The national government maintains a system of museums nationwide. CIVIL LIBERTIES: -No changes to abortion or euthanasia -Abolish the flag desecration law -Allow crossdressing -Create an anti-racist legislation INFRASTRUCTURE: -All power stations are publicly owned. -The government does not take any position on nuclear power. -Public transport is fully subsidised by the government. -The government sets a cap on housing rents. ECOLOGY: -The government establishes fishing quotas. -The government enforces high animal welfare standards. (for livestock farming) |
