Message | Mr. Speaker a Point of Order Similar to Bill FNP-5, I would ask that the FNP leave this Bill open for debate after the election is over, as this will not pass through this House, one way or the other, prior to the coming election in July. Message | Mr Speaker, The Conservative Caucus fully supports the devolution of education to the provinces. Provinces know the needs of their students better than the federal government and should have the powers to set their own education policies. This will also relieve a large portion of our education & culture budget so that we can spend in other areas or give Hutorians a tax break. Rt. Hon. Isaac Steuart-Carmichael MP for Glentingham East Leader of the Royalist Party Conservative Caucus |
Date | 05:28:38, December 19, 2019 CET | From | Federal Labour Party (FLP) | To | Debating the FNP 6: Education Devolution and Policy Options for Localities and Incorporated Cities Yearly (ED POLICY) Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Whilst the comments of the Liberal caucus regarding the nature of this bill are true, in that it will not pass prior to the July elections, even though it is returned to debate upon the dissolution of this session, we believe that this is a vast step backward with regards to our nation's education policy. Devolution of a core element of our society's education is a very brash moveāOne we believe would also result in unforeseen bureaucracy and outrage at levels even we cannot predict. As such, we will currently be voting against this legislation, and will do the same once a new session of Parliament convenes after the July elections. Vincent Davis House of Parliament Leader Federal Labour Party |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
