Bill: Decentralization Act of 4684

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Party of Hulstria(SDP)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4684

Description[?]:

We’ve noticed a trend of centralization occurring for decades now. The people of the local provinces need to handle there own issues, not the federal government.

We do not feel it is fair for some areas of our nation to be ruled by rules that they do not personally like. Therefore, we are proposing this law to give the people of each province a choice in the laws that apply to them

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
