MessageMr Speaker,

As the House is aware, it is a matter of priority to my party to introduce the efficiencies of private industry wherever bureaucracy has over-extended itself in this country. Our railways and our post office are prime examples of this.

Under the careful scrutiny of the Treasury, we propose to commence with the privatization of these two sectors whilst carefully monitoring its success the Treasury Committee. These services will inevitably become cheaper, higher quality and less of a burden on the public purse as private industries are given the opportunity of new markets.

Signed,

Lord Rowcaster
Lord High Treasurer
Secretary of State for Finance

MessageWhile the SEP is fine with Article 1 (Postal Agencies), we were prefer a compromise for Article 2 (TOC's). The SEP would prefer a publicly owned service to operate the national service, we are also comfortable with private companies operating services on a regional level. If this compromise is made, we will vote in favour of this Act. Otherwise, we will vote against it.

Brian Rogerson,
SEP Rep. Infrastructure,
SEP Rep. Transport.
