Message | Beiteynu is the world's only Yeudi state, constructed by our forefathers that the Chosen Ones should never live in fear or persecution in a foreign land ever again. Today, the enemies who seek to deny us our Promised Land are not external, but internal. The heartless Herut party embarks on a scheme with Ahmadi backing to sell out our country and tear apart the foundation it is built upon - the Yeudi faith. Message | Beiteynu is indeed the only Yeudi state in all of Terra but it is also the home to other communities each of which has their own spiritual outlook, interests, and customs or in certain cases none at all (non religious folk), to envoke past persecutions and fears as experienced by many among our great people only serves to trivalize their sacred memory. We are no longer a chosen people and the pact agreed upon in the eyes of the creator has since been invalidated by years of history, it is up to us to understand this and use this understand as a way to build bridges so the state can serve all of its citizens instead of demanding spiritual uniformity. Herut is not an enemy of Beiteynu, we have and always will stand ready to fight for our people. However there are people like those to the right of me whose thoughts haven't crossed the thousand year theresold and are thus still stuck in antiquity, we mustn't let these stalwarts of superstition dictate the course of this nations history. We are not interested in destroy this country or its identity contrary to the honourable gentleman's baseless accusations, but we are prepared to recognize that the Yeudi faith is in fact anything but the foundation of this country, this country was formed by secular Yeudis whose vehicle was the desire to live free and dignified lives as a nation not as adherents of a particular creed. Benyamin Ari Schwartz, Representive of Herut |

Message | Note how Schwartz refers to other religious communities as "sacred" and dismisses Yeudism as "superstition". In trying times like these, can comments like this be characterised as anything less than treason and heresy? Maagan bat Lidan, Minister for Education and Culture |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
